During escalating conflict in the Gulf region, missiles launched as part of retaliatory attacks were intercepted over Bahrain. When such interceptions occur, fragments of the destroyed missile often fall to the ground. In this case, debris landed in the industrial zone, specifically affecting a shipyard area. The falling fragments ignited a fire on the vessel where S.M. Tareq was working. As a maintenance worker on the ship, he was directly exposed to the sudden blaze and impact, leading to his death. This tragic event highlights the indirect but deadly risks posed by missile defense systems, where even successful interceptions can still endanger civilians on the ground.
