Cause of Death: 21-year-old Kurdish man shot with direct fire from IRGC forces during popular protests in Zarneh city on the evening of Thursday 18 Dey 1404

Cause of Death: Internationally renowned sculptor with 15 years of experience in sculpture and teaching, winner of numerous awards, father of two children, killed by regime’s repressive forces with direct gunfire. Next to his self-made lion statue, he had written: ‘My Iran, my love, I love you, wake up…’

Cause of Death: Student of Italian language studies at the University of Tehran, shot directly by Islamic Republic security forces on Ariamehr (Fatemi) Street during the nationwide uprising. Struck by live ammunition during violent crackdown on protests.

Cause of Death: 21-year-old medical student at Tehran University of Medical Sciences who was killed on the 18th (18 Dey). Her body was not allowed to be buried for nearly five days, and when finally permitted, it was done at night with only her parents present. Her parents were under heavy security pressure and did not inform friends or students about the burial until the students found out themselves.

Cause of Death: 24-year-old nurse from Paveh who worked in medical centers in Kermanshah. Shot by military forces while at his workplace during the popular uprising. From the village of Mazidi in Paveh County. Lost his father at six months old and grew up facing many hardships. Graduate of medical imaging (radiology) who worked at Farabi and Imam Reza hospitals in Kermanshah. Investigations are ongoing regarding the exact circumstances of the incident inside the hospital.

Cause of Death: 40-year-old from Dareh Zhir (Mahdiyeh district) in Kermanshah

Cause of Death: Shot by security forces near Azadi Street in Tehran. Legal Medicine officials cited excessive bleeding as cause of death and returned only personal belongings including blood-stained clothes to family while withholding body for burial.

Cause of Death: 36-year-old artificial flower vendor from Shush, shot and killed in South Mehrabad. Authorities forced his elderly mother to sign papers stating he died of natural causes before returning his body.

Cause of Death: Killed at Seyyed Heshmat and Shahrestani intersection, mostly with heavy machine gun (doshka). Part of 61 people killed in one incident over two days.
