Cause of Death: Gilak citizen from Shahsavar, killed by government forces’ gunfire during nationwide protests in Dey month 1404

Cause of Death: Mechanical engineer and graduate of Gilan University who ran a classic car repair shop. Shot in the side during popular protests in Sadeghiyeh area of Tehran while present on the street with her sister. Her sister transported her bloodied body by motorcycle toward the hospital, but she died before reaching the medical center. Family was subjected to severe security pressures to refrain from publicizing news of her death.

Cause of Death: 17-year-old from Fardis, Karaj who was injured during suppression of popular protests, transferred by government forces to Kachouei prison where he died overnight. Body was held at Kahrizak for five days before being released to family. Family was charged 700 million tomans as ‘bullet costs’ and forced to give heavy commitments under security pressure. Burial was restricted to a village around Hashtgerd.

Cause of Death: 16-year-old Kurdish child from Salmas killed by direct gunshot from government suppression forces during popular protests in Tehran. His body was transferred to Qom and has not yet been handed over to his family. He is the third Kurdish citizen from Salmas whose identity has been confirmed as killed in Tehran.

Cause of Death: Shot by suppressor forces on Darvish Street in Isfahan. His relatives kept his body at home under ice and the next day secretly took him to his father’s village ‘Dork Shahpouri village’ and buried him there

Cause of Death: Shot with war bullets by Islamic Republic forces during anti-government protests in Marvdasht city, Fars province on the evening of 19 Dey. After being wounded, he did not go to the hospital in time due to fear of security forces and died from severe bleeding. He was a teacher. His father was an elder of the tribe and a well-known figure in Marvdasht. Security agencies agreed to hand over his body to the family on the condition that the burial ceremony would be with limited attendance and that the family would declare he was killed by ‘terrorists’ rather than government forces. The family agreed to the limited ceremony but refused to lie about their son’s killers. Security forces prevented his mother from being present at the grave during burial, forcing her to watch from a distance.

Cause of Death: Shot in the leg with a war bullet, then arrested by forces who transferred him to a corner of a park adjacent to the street among trees where he was beaten with multiple baton strikes and ultimately died from the severity of his injuries. Known as ‘Son of the Sea’ among locals, he was a football coach who worked for years to develop football in the region.
