Protests occurred on Saturday, 20 Dey 1404, when the main square of Chaf was crowded with people chanting slogans and several locations including ‘the house of a famous IRGC member’ were set on fire. She followed Tavaana’s educational materials and commented on them.

He was a hardworking hairdresser on Mofteh Street in Isfahan, known for his kindness, compassion, and family devotion. Father of two daughters who devoted his entire life to the peace and happiness of his family. Friends and acquaintances remember him as a calm, kind, and supportive person.

Cause of Death: Shot by direct gunfire from Islamic Republic security forces during Iran’s national uprising in Baharestan, Isfahan. He was a powerlifting athlete from Izeh and a two-time national champion in powerlifting. In one of his last messages to a close friend, he wrote ‘I’m not here, take care of the family.’

Before joining the protests he had said: ‘I am at peace about the security and welfare of my children and it doesn’t matter what happens to me. I’m going to the protests for a better future for the next generation.’

The intensity of the shooting indicated clear intent to kill. Security forces forced his family to pledge not to publicize this crime after his death.

Cause of Death: 16-year-old teenager shot with live ammunition in the upper chest/heart area outside Jaber Ansari Street metro station in Isfahan. He was severely wounded and died after being transferred to Dr. Gharazi Hospital in Isfahan. His body was returned to his family about a week later. Shot directly with war weapons targeting vital areas of the body including head and heart by security forces, demonstrating clear intent to kill.

Cause of Death: Father of a 6-year-old daughter. Shot by sniper during protests in Fardis, Karaj and died from facial injuries. Two of his friends tried to transport his body by car but Islamic Republic forces prevented them and transferred the body to the coroner’s office. His family faced pressure and threats when trying to retrieve the body. They were told they could only bury him if his name was registered as a ‘Basiji’ or if they paid 1 billion tomans. The family refused these conditions and after four days, through persistence and contacts, they retrieved the body. The family was warned they had no right to hold mourning ceremonies and were denied permission to bury him in their preferred location. According to authorities’ orders, Hamed Basiri could only be buried in Eshtehard, Karaj.

Cause of Death: Killed by Islamic Republic suppression forces while protesting. Died from being hit by a war bullet. Was a mountaineer who had climbed high peaks including Kamal peak (3700m) in Sahand region of East Azerbaijan province and Shah Moalem peak (3050m) in Gilan province.
