Biography
Fatemeh Salari was a 34-year-old woman from Minab in Hormozgan Province, Iran. She was among the civilians present at or near Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School when it was struck during an air attack in February 2026. The strike killed a large number of schoolchildren, teachers, and adults connected to the school community. Fatemeh Salari was one of the adult victims identified in lists compiled after the attack.
Fatemeh Salari lived in Minab, a city in southern Iran’s Hormozgan Province. During the morning hours of 28 February 2026, when classes were underway at Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School, missiles struck the school compound as part of wider air raids reported across the region. The attack destroyed large sections of the school building and caused heavy casualties among children, teachers, and civilians who were present at the site. According to reports, the strike occurred during school hours, when many students were in classrooms or moving between periods. Fatemeh Salari was identified among those killed in the incident, which became one of the deadliest attacks involving civilian casualties during the conflict.
