Biography

Zahra Behroozi was an eight-year-old Iranian primary school student from Minab. She was the eldest daughter in her family and the first granddaughter among her extended relatives. According to her parents, Zahra was a cheerful, thoughtful child who loved paper crafts and enjoyed cutting and pasting projects. She took pride in her appearance, carefully arranging her clothes and headscarf, and was remembered for her bright personality and affectionate nature. She was attending school when the missile strike occurred, tragically ending her young life.

Zahra Behroozi was born into a loving family in Minab, Iran, and was remembered as a bright, kind-hearted, and creative child. She shared a close bond with her parents and younger brother, Mohammad. Her mother recalled Zahra's enthusiasm for arts and crafts, often filling the house with the smell of glue while making paper creations. She was meticulous about her appearance, making sure her clothes and headscarf were always neatly arranged, and she enjoyed taking photographs, sometimes setting her favorite picture of herself as the family's phone wallpaper. Her parents remembered the happiness that surrounded her birth, as she was the first granddaughter in the extended family. Zahra was attending Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School on 28 February 2026 when the school was struck by a missile. She was killed in the collapse of the girls' section of the building, leaving her family devastated and depriving them of a child whose future had only just begun.
