Shortly afterward, another strike reportedly hit the location where many survivors had gathered, causing additional casualties. The explosions destroyed large sections of the school and led to the deaths of many children, including Fatemeh Rahdar.

Biography

Fatemeh Rahdar was a ten-year-old student from Minab in Iran’s Hormozgan Province. She attended Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School, where she studied with other children from the local community. On 1 March 2026, missiles struck the school during an air attack amid regional conflict. The explosions caused severe destruction to the building and resulted in many casualties among students and staff. Fatemeh Rahdar was among the young students who lost their lives in the attack.

Fatemeh Rahdar was a young schoolgirl living in the city of Minab in southern Iran’s Hormozgan Province. At ten years old, she was a student at Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School, a local elementary school attended by many children from the surrounding community.

On the morning of 1 March 2026, Fatemeh was at school during regular classes when missiles struck the campus during an air attack reported in the area. The initial explosion caused extensive destruction and panic among students and teachers. School staff attempted to move children to safer parts of the building after the first blast. However, another strike reportedly hit the area where many of them had gathered for shelter.
