Biography

Athena Ahmadzadeh was a 10-year-old student who tragically lost her life in the US-Israeli air strike on her primary school in Minab. She was among the many children who perished in the devastating attack.

Athena Ahmadzadeh was a young school-aged child whose life was cut short during the Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school strike in Minab, Iran. On the morning of 1 March 2026, a “double tap” air strike targeted her school, killing her and many of her classmates, as well as staff and parents who had rushed to protect their children. The attack caused widespread destruction and grief in the community. Athena’s death highlights the severe human toll of the conflict, particularly on innocent children in Iran.
