Biography

Amir-Hassan Rasouli was an eight-year-old student at Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School in Minab, Hormozgan Province, Iran. Like many children in the area, he attended school to pursue his early education and spent his days studying alongside classmates and teachers. On 1 March 2026, his life was cut short when the school was struck during a reported air strike amid escalating military tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Amir-Hassan was among dozens of children killed in the attack, which drew international attention due to the high number of young victims.

Amir-Hassan Rasouli was a young schoolboy living in the southern Iranian city of Minab in Hormozgan Province. At just eight years old, he was in the early years of primary education at Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School. According to reports compiled after the attack, the school was full of students and staff when explosions struck the area during the morning. Teachers attempted to move children to safer parts of the building and contacted parents to collect their children. However, a second strike reportedly hit the area where people had taken shelter. Amir-Hassan Rasouli was among those who lost their lives in the incident. His death became part of a larger tragedy that killed many children, school employees, and nearby civilians. In the days following the strike, large funeral ceremonies were held in Minab, where families and community members mourned the loss of the young victims.
