Ziad Ahmad al-Mudallal, 35, was a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operative and son of senior PIJ leader Ahmad al-Mudallal. He was killed alongside PIJ southern commander Khaled Mansour in a targeted Israeli airstrike on August 6, 2022, during Operation "Breaking Dawn." Ziad Ahmad al-Mudallal was born into Gaza's entrenched resistance movement as the son of Ahmad al-Mudallal, a founding member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
