Zahra Bani-Amerian
Iran · Aged 48 · Died 1/19/26
Killed along with her husband and child when Islamic Republic forces opened fire on their car during a peaceful protest in Karaj. She was a retired employee of the Social Security Organization from Karaj, originally from Sonqor. Their eldest son Davood survived despite being shot. Bodies were transferred to Sonqor and buried before 6 AM under heightened security.
