How they died

Shot by Islamic Republic forces during protests in Karaj. Was a 27-year-old player in Iran's women's football league, played for Tehran's 'Mehrgan Pardis' team, had previously played for 'Azarakhsh' and 'Saba' teams, and had been invited to Iran's national women's football training camps. She was also a professional mountaineer who had conquered Damavand and Elbrus peaks. Her body was returned to her family 3 days after her killing on Monday 22 Dey and she was buried in Islamshahr.
