Zahra Arjomandi was a 51-year-old Iranian Christian and a mother of two. She was killed on January 8, 2026, after being shot during a protest. Zahra Arjomandi, aged 51, was an Iranian Christian convert living under a system that closely monitors and restricts religious minorities. During the massive nationwide protests that erupted in late December 2025 and peaked on January 8–9, 2026, she participated in or was present near a protest gathering.
