Police had been following Zachary Hall for several hours and planned to arrest him when he left the Layton Hills Mall. He reportedly was wanted for an aggravated robbery out of Salt Lake City. After allegedly failing to comply with orders, Hall ran to his other which was mostly boxed in by officer vehicles. Special Agent Nathan Young shot and killed him when Hall drove in his general direction.
