Trent died as the passenger on a motorcycle that crashed during a police chase. City police and county police had attempted to pull it over for reckless driving, and "officers say they lost sight of the two after reaching a road block." The bike had been stolen. The driver, Trent's friend, eventually was sentenced to five years in prison.
