Suicide

Zachary Anam's hands were cuffed behind his back when he was placed into the back seat of a police car driven by officer Iven Wall. As the two headed to police headquarters, Anam told Wall he was suicidal. Anam retrieved a pistol from the back of his pants and brought the gun to his head by bringing his cuffed hands around to the right side of his body, police said. Wall pulled over and got out of the car. Anam shot and killed himself.
