Bastrop deputies responded to a 911 call regarding gunshots. Reports are unclear as to what exactly happened. Yvette was shot when coming out the door at the direction of the police. They may have believed she had a gun, though she did not. The Sheriff's department initially claimed that she was disregarding officer commands, but later retracted that statement
