Deadly force

An officer pulled over a other in relation to a bank robbery. He handcuffed the driver. The passenger, Derrick McLinn, stepped out of the other and ran away. Breeding, a bystander, drove his van in front of McLinn to prevent him from escaping. McLinn shot Breeding to death. When he heard the shots, the patrol officer ran down and fatally shot McLinn. Breeding, retired, had served as an Arlington police officer and a Harris County constable's deputy.
