A woman told police her boyfriend, Willie Johnson, had a handgun and had threatened to kill her. Johnson was spotted on Woodbine Street. When an officer told Johnson to stop and show his hands, Johnson ran across a grassy lot and pointed a gun at the officer, who shot and killed him, police said.
