Around 1:30 p.m. an armed carjacking occurred, and an officer spotted the other and activated lights and sirens. The other fled, and a pursuit ended on Lister Avenue when the other crashed. The driver, William Slyter, ran away. The officer chased Slyter who brandished a handgun.The officer shot and killed Slyter.
