Deadly force
The incident started with a foot pursuit of a man by numerous law enforcement agencies, OSBI reported. The pursuit ended in the parking lot of the Choctaw Nation Casino and Resort, when the man got out of a stolen pickup and raised a rifle at officers, according to a news release from OSBI. Two Hugo officers and two Choctaw County sheriff's deputies fired their weapons, killing him.
