According to an accomplice, William Bacon, 18, participated in the botched robbery of a black market marijuana farm, allegedly shooting and killing a man in his sleep and wounding another man. They then successfully robbed another marijuana farm and returned to the accomplice's ranch. Police raided the ranch and found Bacon hiding in a barn. Bacon allegedly brandished a shotgun, and an officer shot and killed him.
