Deadly force
Deputies were called to Warren Gary Cook's family home to issue a domestic violence protection order filed by Cook's family members. Cook appeared at the door with a shotgun then barricaded himself in the house. During two hours of negotiations, Cook repeatedly threatened the lives of deputies. When he returned to the door with the shotgun, three SWAT officers opened fired and killed him. Shooting justified by district attorney.
