Deputy John Anderson pursued Williamson for riding his motorcycle at 70 mph in a 40 mph zone, then driving through a traffic stop. Just before Deputy Anderson called off the chase, Williamson ran a red light and T-boned a van, killing himself. The occupants of the van survived.
