Jermaine Mandley reportedly fled from police, ran a red light and crashed his Chevrolet Lumina into a car driven by the Rev. Charles Shyne Jr. and his wife, Verlena Shyne, killing them both. Police had stopped Mandley at 35th Street and King Drive after they said he ran a red light. As an officer approached the car, Mandley told his passengers to "watch this," and sped away, according to prosecutors. Mandley, 26, was charged with two counts of reckless homicide.
