Off-duty police Senior Cpl. Christopher Timms was working security at a nightclub with fellow officers Colwin Dennis and Arif Khan, when he saw Tyrique Rashad Johnson firing directly into a crowd with an automatic pistol. Police shot and killed Johnson. Johnson was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
