Deputies responded to a call to remove an intoxicated and out-of-control family member from a residence on Radar Hill Road around 3:25 p.m. Multiple deputies were confronted by a man carrying a long gun. The man reportedly leveled the gun in the direction of police and ignored commands to drop the weapon, and the officers shot and killed him.
