Troy Wolverton murdered Shena Nolan, 32, on March 10 after she refused his attempts to resume a previous romantic relationship. Wolverton stabbed Nolan more than 40 times in front of her 8-year-old son, police said. Wolverton then took his own life by repeatedly stabbing himself following a police chase along Ohio 123 and Interstate 75 that ended in Franklin.
