Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of someone who was trying to open doors in the neighborhood. An officer reportedly saw someone who looked like the suspect. The person began to flee, and then allegedly turned and fired at the officer. The officer shot back at Trevante Johnson. Johnson was killed. Johnson's fatal gunshot wound reportedly was self-inflicted.
