Police said Officer Larry Whitman responded to a shots-fired report involving a silver sport-utility other in the neighborhood, south of Rt. 161 and west of I-71. When the officer approached a other matching the description, Darson reportedly got out of the SUV with a gun in his hand, and he was shot and killed.
