Deadly force
Liniger was the office manager at a storage facility. On the day of the incident, she stopped two customers leaving the storage facility at the gate, behaving very erratically. When one of them called 911, she retrieved a weapon and shot out their tire. Police arrived and tried to negotiate with Liniger, but when she raised her weapon, they opened fire, killing her. Liniger battled severe depression according to her daughter.
