New York City Police Officer Michael Valva and his fiancee, Angela Pollina, are facing charges of second-degree murder. Police responded to Valva's home and found the body of 8-year-old Thomas on the family's driveway. Valva told officers that Thomas fell while waiting to catch his school bus. Police said the autistic boy was kept inside an unheated garage overnight when temperatures outside fell as low as 19 degrees.
