About 8 p.m., a couple called police saying their adult son appeared to be high on drugs, and they wanted him removed from their home, police said. Two officers arrived and spoke with the parents, then made contact with the man inside the home, first tasering then shooting and killing him when he repeatedly brandished an "object" in a dark hallway.
