Deadly force
According to the Argus Leader: Minnehaha County Sheriff's Deputies went to the home of Webster to make an arrest for three outstanding warrants. Authorities knew Webster was carrying a concealed weapon and was telling people he wasn't going to be taken into custody without a fight. As Webster left his home, deputies arrived in an unmarked van and identified themselves as law enforcement. Webster walked away from the deputies, and when they pursued him he turned and pulled out a gun. He attempted to point the gun at Deputy Craig Butler, who fired four rounds. Deputy Joe Bosman fired two rounds. All six hit Webster, killing him.
