About 3:30 p.m., police attempted to pull over an SUV Tharin Walker was driving for a traffic violation. He reportedly led police on a short chase through League City. The chase ended when the SUV hit another other. When Walker refused to exit his other, a standoff began. About two hours later, he reportedly shot and killed himself.
