At about 8: 45 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire. Officers said they spotted a white Ford SUV with several men inside that sped off. Police pursued the Ford, which ran a red light and slammed into a red Toyota Corolla. The Toyota then hit another car, a black Saturn SUV, killing the driver, Tevin J. Jones-Rogers. Corey N. Brewer, 18, was taken into custody after the crash and was charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to a other, police said.
