Deadly force
Police shot Terry Winston when he allegedly pointed a gun at officers in the Englewood neighborhood. Mobile Strike Force officers were making a traffic stop at about 12:25 a.m. when they said Winston jumped out of the other and ran off. The officers chased Winston, who allegedly turned and aimed a gun in their direction. An officer shot Winston in the face, and he died at the scene.
