Terry Leroy Hamblin died after the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving crashed during a police chase. According to police, Hamblin fled when an officer tried to stop him for running a red light. Hamblin's SUV left the roadway, crossed back, went off the other side of road, then struck a utility pole and a chain link fence. Hamblin was pronounced dead at the scene.
