Deadly force
Davis was the passenger in a stolen car when police officers approached the other. The driver drove off and Davis jumped out the car to make a flee-attempt on foot. A police officer caught up with him in a field near East 26th Street and Jackson Avenue. The officer testified that Terry pointed a gun at him, and he had no choice but to shoot and kill him.
