Deadly force

Officers responded to a call of a male gunman holding up the restaurant. About three minutes later, the robbery suspect left through the kitchen where a police officer positioned outside the back of the restaurant ordered him to stop, police said. The man turned toward the officer and pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at him, police said. The officer shot and killed him.
