Deadly force

Officers were looking for a man involved in a forgery case. Police had been trying to get the man to turn himself in, but he reportedly was threatening to harm himself. An officer found Schmitz walking on a street. Police said the he pulled a knife and began threatening the officer who shot and killed Schmitz.
