Suicide

The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force served a warrant on Smith at a residence for aggravated robbery. Smith hid under a bed with his hands beneath his chest. Task Force members tasered him twice. Smith shot himself. The Task Force is composed of local law enforcement who cooperate with the US Marshall's Service to capture fugitives and people accused of violent crimes.
