At about 1:17 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Charger for speeding. The driver fled, and the deputy pursued the other. The deputy reportedly lost the Dodge Charger but continued to search the area. A pedestrian then told the deputy that the other crashed. When the deputy arrived, the Dodge Charger was engulfed in flames. Driver Moises Ruiz, 20, and passenger, 22-year-old Tatiana Munguia were killed.
