Pursuit
State police attempted to conduct a traffic stop in Kentwood. The driver, Alejandro Torrez, refused to stop, and a chase ensued. Torrez's car, traveling east, crashed into a northbound car at an intersection. Torrez's cousin, 15-year-old David Torrez, was killed. The lone occupant and driver of the northbound car, Tara Oskam, was also killed.
