Pursuit
Officers attempted to stop a 2016 Nissan at approximately 3:19 a.m. The Nissan fled, and officers reportedly ended their pursuit after losing sight of the other. Six minutes later, officers were dispatched for an accident. Officers identified the Nissan that fled from police as one of the vehicles in the crash. The driver of the Nissan, William Lane, 34, was heading westbound and hit a Dodge Ram as he crossed the intersection at North Berkley Road. A passenger in the Nissan, Sydney Glenn, was killed. Lane and another passenger were injured. The driver of the Ram, James Conwell, 35, was also injured.
