Police said Steven Dewayne Haizlip, a City of Winston-Salem employee, opened fire at the Joycelyn V. Johnson Municipal building, killing Terry Lee Cobb Jr. Two other people were injured by gunfire. Haizlip was killed in a gunfight with police.
