Deadly force
Steven David Schumann was sought by state police for absconding parole for felonious assault. A woman had been riding in Schumann's car when troopers approached. Schumann pulled out a weapon and it became a hostage situation. Two troopers shot and killed Schumann. The hostage was injured.
