Officers responded to the Sunoco Gas Station for a gun call around 12:30 a.m. When they arrived, police were met by Steven Smith who was armed with a handgun and who reportedly fired at the officers. Officers Jason Wells and Kenneth Sheehan shot and killed Smith.
