How they died

Kickboxing athlete shot during protests. Initially targeted with pellet shots, then while fleeing despite being wounded, security forces shot him in the side from behind with a pistol. He was taken alive to an ambulance, but friends found his body hours later with signs of bruising on his neck. He had told others he was going to a 'wedding' and had even visited a barbershop before participating in the protests.
