Glendale officers and U.S. deputy marshals were searching for an escaped inmate and had set up a perimeter around a house. As officers attempted to contact the man, he fled through a backyard and jumped over a back wall. A Glendale officer confronted him and ordered him to stop, but he allegedly shot at the officer who shot and killed him.
